For several seasons now, Paraboot has teamed up with young female artists from different backgrounds, asking them to represent their vision of the Marianne.
A symbol of the Republic and Liberty, it is showcased through a unique artistic expression on an iconic Paraboot model.
Illustrator Blachette
Blachette, real name Camille Blache, is an illustrator. She shares her creative and colorful universe with the world of comics, but she is above all a must for illustrations on social networks.
The artist draws her inspiration from the vibrant streets of Paris and her native Perpignan.
His passion for fashion is also an integral part of his art.
Her illustrations are always meant to be inclusive, and are a way of sharing her convictions as well as subjects close to her heart.
Her work as an illustrator close to current events has led her to collaborate with brands such as Lacoste for a capsule collection, and Asics to illustrate their advertising campaign.
"Ever since I was very young, I've had a passion for fashion and beautiful, iconic pieces. I've always seen people around me wearing Paraboot, and even more so in recent years. So this collaboration with the brand was an obvious choice for me.
I've had the opportunity to work alongside various brands in the fashion world thanks to my art. Two years ago, I had the chance to create a capsule collection with a major French brand, a big challenge that I loved being able to pull off. It was a big challenge that I loved being able to take on, from thinking about the collection's identity, to the DA, to setting up and monitoring the creative process, from the final result right through to marketing.
For this partnership, I really wanted to represent my universe by choosing a green color to bring freshness and pep to the legendary Orsay."

– Unlined model, genuine Norwegian stitching
– Natural rubber sole
– Lime suede leather
A word from Blachette:
"In my work as an illustrator, I always insist on inclusiveness. That's why, for the depiction of the Marianne, I deliberately drew an East Asian woman.
It's important to me that all women feel represented through this model, which is why I wanted to break with the traditional codes of the classic white Marianne."
